ZO-Africa-HC-035a – The photograph shows a single lioness lying in tall, dense grass. Visible are the head and upper part of the body of the lioness, which is facing slightly towards the viewer. Her eyes are open and her mouth is slightly ajar, exposing part of her teeth. The surrounding grass is colored in shades of dark green and yellow, creating a natural camouflage for the animal.
