SL-Pomegranates5 – The photograph depicts a still life arrangement consisting of a dark, matte metallic pitcher and a variety of partially opened pomegranates, some of which are placed directly on a rough wooden surface, and others gathered on a shallow, circular metal tray. The pomegranates are richly colored and show exposed seeds. The backdrop and the surface in the foreground display a deep, uniform maroon drapery that also covers part of the wooden surface. The overall setting presents the objects in a dimly lit environment which emphasizes the textures and natural forms of the pitcher and fruit. This artwork is available for sale.
